Free Advice: Free

If you have specific questions about your site, or general questions about maximizing a site’s traffic or effectiveness, head over to the High Rankings forums. You’ll be hard pressed to find a group of people more knowledgeable or more willing to share their knowledge, and after you’ve been an active participant for awhile, you can even request a review of your site. I hang out over there a lot, too, so it’s a lot cheaper than paying for an hour of time just to have us answer one question for you.

Site Analysis: $1,500 to $2,500 (depending on the size of the site)

A site analysis is a thorough look at where your site is now and where it could be, and gives you a detailed roadmap for how to get there.
Specific tasks are ranked by their difficulty and overall impact. After the site analysis, you will know exactly what needs to be done to maximize your site’s sales (or leads, or conversions).

Hourly: $300

If you just need an hour of work here and there, or don’t want to make a minimum monthly commitment, I can provide services on an as-needed basis.

Monthly Retainers

For all other needs, the prices are based on a monthly retainer. Retainer plans require a three-month commitment and are available in four different hourly levels:

10-Hour Retainer: $2,700 ($270/hr after 10 hours)
20-Hour Retainer: $5,000 ($250/hr after 20 hours)
40-Hour Retainer: $8,000 ($200/hr after 40 hours)
80-Hour Retainer: $14,000 ($175/hr after 80 hours)

After the initial three-month commitment, you’re free to change your commitment from month to month with a thirty-day notice. For large projects, I’ve found it’s best to have a large hourly commitment for the first three months when the workload is the heaviest and then drop to a smaller commitment as the work declines.
