Our first foray into search engine optimization was an online computer store in 2000. We developed the site from the ground up over a six-month period spanning late 1999 and early 2000 and then used the exact same principles that we used for CareerBuilder.com four years later (and the same principles that work just as well today) to drive thousands of users to the site every month and take the store to over $1 million in sales in its first full year of business.
