Distant Replays is one of the premier retailers of throwback jerseys and other vintage merchandise today. Despite that, when we started search engine optimization on the site in September 2004 the site didn’t rank in the top 30 at all for throwback-related terms on Google or Yahoo.

After implementing the recommendations in our Site Analysis, however, the site moved to #1 on Google for “throwback jersey” and #2 for “throwback jerseys.” Similarly, the site rose from #199 to #1 and #5 on Yahoo for “throwback jerseys.” The site also gained many other top 5 and top 10 rankings and saw its traffic from search engines jump significantly.
